Word of God:

Pilate handed Jesus over to them to be crucified.  So they took Jesus, and, carrying the cross himself, he went out to what is called the Place of the Skull, in Hebrew, Golgatha.  There they crucified him with two others, one on either side, with Jesus in the middle.        John 19:18

A Word from Mother Rivier:

Every minute of your life bears merit in the sight of God; unite each one with those Jesus spent on the Cross.  It is in that refuge that you must remain.  Jesus Christ accomplished during His passion only what He was ordered to.  He accepted His Cross, He carried it, He allowed Himself to be nailed to it, and be given vinegar to drink.  Let us remain as He did in the hands of God.
